November always brings a moment to pause and appreciate what matters most—and at the AMA, that means celebrating our members, our industry partners, and the incredible events and achievements that make this community thrive. This month, we came together for record-breaking competitions, impactful fundraisers, and meaningful connections.

Let’s look back at the highlights!

This Month At The AMA (Jan 2025 - coming soon)

A Retreat to Recharge
We kicked off November with a Staff Retreat to strategize, collaborate, and brainstorm on all the ways we can better serve YOU in the upcoming year. Good ideas, big goals, and caffeine-fueled conversation—consider us recharged and ready for 2024!

Maintenance Mania: Back and Bigger Than Ever
We brought Maintenance Mania back with a bang—twice! Tucson (Nov 7) and Phoenix (Nov 14) saw record-breaking registration and high-octane competition. From games and raffles to prizes and pinewood derby-style races, it was our chance to celebrate the maintenance rockstars who keep our communities running.

Delegates on Duty
On November 13, we sent our AMA delegates to NAA’s Assembly of Delegates (AOD), where the biggest decisions in our industry are made. With NAA’s leadership installed and key updates shared, it’s exciting to see the future direction of multifamily housing nationwide—and we’re proud to have our voices in the room.

Bowling for a Cause
The Tucson Bowl-A-Thon on November 15 was straight-up magical. Costumes? Check. Strikes and spares? You bet. Raising $13,000 for local organizations like the Center of Opportunity and Interfaith Community Services? Absolutely. Our biggest Tucson fundraising event of the year proved what happens when you mix fun, community, and generosity—you knock it out of the park (or down the lane)!

Connecting Over Coffee: Phoenix IPC and Tucson Breakfast
Phoenix members got the VIP treatment at the Industry Partner Committee Meeting on November 19, thanks to Chamberlin + Associates LLC and the gorgeous DC Heights property.

Then on November 21, Tucson industry partners got their moment at the Partner Appreciation Breakfast, where MC Companies, Avenue 5, Bridge, and more pulled out all the stops with breakfast, prizes, and gratitude galore. Cheers to our incredible partners who keep this industry strong!

Learning Never Takes a Holiday
In between all the events, we delivered powerhouse education classes, including the CAM course in Tucson, EPA 608 Training, and sessions on Legal and Advocacy Updates and Advanced Retention Techniques. And if you missed a class?

Good news—our on-demand library is available (and FREE!) to all members anytime. Because growth never goes out of season.

Celebrating Our Team
Huge congratulations are in order for Christina Desaubin (Director of Communications & Marketing), celebrating 5 years with the AMA, and Jenica Hickey (Special Programs Manager), celebrating 4 years. Thank you both for your continued dedication to the AMA and for everything you bring to our team!

26 New Members, Infinite Possibilities

We welcomed 26 new members this month—an excellent reminder of how our AMA-zing community continues to grow.

From strategic retreats to bowling feats, November was proof that big things happen when our members, partners, and team come together. As we wrap up the year and look ahead, we’re beyond thankful for all of you.

Here’s to the people, events, and moments that make this community feel like home!
