Proper documentation is necessary in the rental housing business to manage expectations with residents, protect your rights as a landlord, comply with certain laws, and limit legal problems. The use of AMA recognized and approved forms is the best way to document your rental transactions.
A panel of AMA attorneys developed over 40 AMA approved forms, including applications, leases, notices and addendums. There are two convenient options available to you to obtain the AMA forms. In addition, the association participates in the National Apartment Association Click & Lease Program, the most widely used lease form in the industry.

TWO TYPES OF FORMS: FILLABLE & NON-FILLABLE PDFS
With the AMA fillable forms, AMA regular members can type in resident and property information on all available lease forms and addendums and print as many copies of the completed form(s) as needed, right from your printer.
With the AMA non-fillable forms, members can print and complete single copies of blank AMA forms directly from this link. You will need to use carbon paper or your copier to obtain multiple copies.

The National Apartment Association has developed a set of national standard lease forms. The AMA version has been modified, as necessary, to comply with Arizona state statutes. Primarily developed for multi-state companies that want to use consistent forms across their portfolio, users complete the forms and associated Blue Moon software program on their computer terminal. The information then integrates directly into many leading property management software programs.
