Come join us as Fire Marshals from the City of Phoenix help you plan and prepare for a fire or emergency situation on your property. Gain access to a property management checklist to ensure there are no potential hazards on your property. Learn how to do a thorough walk-through to look for those potential hazards. Learn about Lithium-Ion Battery safety. Did you ever wonder how smoke detectors can save lives? This class is a must for property managers!

Presented by:

Deputy Fire Marshal Cindy Staub has been with the City of Phoenix for 15 years. She has an Associates in Fire Science,  Undergraduate in Fire Administration, & Registered Nurse. In Fire Prevention, she oversees a team of Fire Inspectors that specialize in outdoor combustible storage, complaints, and places of assembly.

Assistant Fire Marshall Steve Petrie has worked for Phoenix Fire Prevention for over 18 years.  He currently serves as the Assistant Fire Marshal overseeing multifamily housing inspections amongst other areas.  Steve has a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering Technology and a Master’s in Public Administration.
