Generational Dynamics: Finding Value in our Differences
April 16| 10:00am-11:00am | ZOOM
In a workplace where five generations now collaborate, understanding and appreciating generational dynamics is more important than ever. Too often, we rely on stereotypes that limit our ability to connect, communicate, and work effectively across age groups. This session challenges unconscious bias and shifts the conversation from generational labels to the shared values, thought processes, and behaviors that define each group.
Through interactive discussions and real-world examples, participants will explore the unique strengths each generation brings and learn how to replace judgment with curiosity. By deepening our understanding of generational perspectives, we can foster more inclusive, productive, and engaged teams. Whether you’re managing a multigenerational workforce or navigating workplace relationships, this session will provide practical tools to bridge gaps, leverage diverse strengths, and create a culture where generational differences become a source of innovation rather than division.
Objectives:
1. To have a better understanding that generations are a shared group of values, thought processes and behaviors and not ‘date based’ parameters
2. To raise levels of curiosity vs. judgement and allow for greater understanding and appreciation of generational differences
3. To learn how to leverage the strengths of the 5 generations that influence today’s business environment
This class qualifies for NAA continuing education credits needed for credential renewals.
