Launch your career! Often the first credential earned, the Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) training assists leasing agents with integrating successful sales techniques, increasing resident retention, and meeting resident needs. This course is designed to teach these professionals skills to help them become top producers.

Instructor
Bry Carter: AMA Lyceum, NAAEI VFT and AFT Faculty and currently sits on The Board for Arizona Multifamily Association and as the Education Chair, she also sits on three other education committees nationwide. Bry was on site from 1995 to 2008 doing leasing, lease-ups, and large property management (696 units). She went to Apartmentguide.com in 2008 and moved to Denver as a manager until 2012. In 2012, Bry moved to Gannett/Apartments.com as a national sales manager. Bry moved back to Phoenix in 2016 with CoStar group / Apartments.com as a regional sales manager. In 2018, Bry went to The Phoenix Staffing. She has built out a direct hire division, runs five markets, and has had the ability to train locally and nationally with apartment associations including BAAA, TAA, and the AMA. Her classes include leasing, time management, leadership, recruitment, and maintenance programs. Her passion is helping people and her favorite thing to tell people is if you are comfortable, you are not growing!

Credential Requirements:

Have at least 6 months experience in the apartment industry.

Successfully complete the seven courses.

Complete all the requirements during the 6-month candidacy period.
- The CALP exam is a 120-question multiple choice exam timed for two hours. The exam is administered by Scantron and is taken via live online proctoring. You must use a computer equipped with a webcam to complete your exam. A minimum score of 79 is required to pass.

No changes, refunds, or cancellations will be permitted within 10 days of an event for attendee registrations and within 30 days for sponsorships, Tribute Awards tables, and exhibit tables/booths.
