We are pleased to offer the PHTA Certified Pool Operators Course. The CPO certification program is the world’s leading education and certification program for keeping pools safer and keeping them open. Training provides individuals with the knowledge, techniques, and skills required for proper pool operations. This course is 16 hours in length and held over 2 days. (Pool & spa operator handbook included.)
You will learn how to:
- Reduce risks in and around the water
- Prevent drowning, recreational water illness, suction entrapment, evisceration, diving accidents, electrocutions, chemical hazards, and slips and falls
- Address regulatory guidelines
- Maintain disinfection and water balance
- Manage water problems
- Perform troubleshooting, chemical testing, and record keeping
- Manage chemical feed
- Utilize automation and technology

Arthur "Ott" McNeely
Ott brings 35 years of experience in the pool industry. He previously owned a successful pool service company in Daytona Beach, Florida, before joining Poolsure, where he has contributed his expertise for the past 21 years. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Ott is a proud parent of four children and a grandfather of five. He enjoys fishing and motorcycle riding during his leisure time.
